Nixxi Announces the Imminent Publication of Its Research on Preterm Birth Biomarkers

Updated: Feb 5

Nixxi announces the upcoming publication of its research on preterm birth biomarkers, which will be published in the journal, Human Reproduction Open. The study demonstrates that a ratio of maternal steroid hormones, when tested as early as the late first trimester, accurately predicts a woman’s risk for spontaneous preterm birth prior to 32 weeks. The findings are important as early detection will allow clinicians to identify those women at risk for preterm delivery and implement behavioral and clinical interventions to mitigate the risk.
